Abhinav Vats is a researcher at the Department of Kaya Chikitsa, Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi – 221005, India. His research interests lie at the intersection of traditional medicine, public health, and social change. Currently, he is examining the sociological impact of the post-COVID period on rural India, with a particular focus on health practices, economic transitions, and the evolving relationship between Ayurveda and rural healthcare accessibility. His work aims to bridge clinical perspectives with social theory, contributing to a holistic understanding of health and society in contemporary India.
