Binita Behera is Assistant Professor(Senior Level) in School of Law of KIIT DU. She has fifteen years of experience in the development sector, both government and non government. She also has academic experience. Some of the notable organizations where she has worked are UNICEF, ActionAid, State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. She has a Ph.D in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her doctoral thesis is on the role of schooling system in the construction of gender identities.
