Dr. Asha Bhandari, Ph.D, M.A (Sociology, Philosophy) is a Senior Assistant Professor and Head at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Law University Jodhpur (Rajasthan).. She has presented papers, published books, research papers in National and International academic journals and also organized various Seminars on women’s issues. She has also completed two major research project – ‘Socio-Legal Status of Women Prisoners and their Dependent Children- A study of Central Jails of Rajasthan’ and ‘Role of Logical Fallacies in Legal Reasoning- An Assessment of Judicial Pronouncement in India’ funded by Indian Council For Social Science Research and University Grant Commission. Her areas of interest are Gender Studies and Legal Reasoning. She is also Executive Director for Centre for Gender Studies at NLUJ.
