I am Azamat Dadasab Bawakhan, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi. I cleared the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for Karnataka in 2015. I completed my Ph.D. in 2022 and worked as a Guest Lecturer at Agriculture University, Dharwad. Simultaneously, I also worked as Guest Faculty at the Research Center for Women’s Studies at Karnataka University, Dharwad, for a period of one year. I have taught many subjects, including Social Demography, Sociology of Gender, Rural Sociology, Research Methodology, Women and Environment, and Social Statistics. I was awarded a Doctoral Fellowship from July 2017 to July 2021 by the Government of Karnataka, Directorate of Minorities, Bangalore. I have presented more than 12 papers at national and international conferences and published six articles in reputed pre-revised and UGC CARE journals.
My goal is to pursue a challenging teaching / research career and to enhance my potential, and skills, and will work in the direction of equality and welfare of all.
