Dr. Rajesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Parul Institute of Liberal Arts, Parul University, Gujarat, India. His academic interests include gender studies, social stratification, social movements, Indian society, and labour migration to GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. His work explores the socio-economic impacts of migration, particularly the experiences of migrant workers from India in Gulf nations.

He is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic activities, developing innovative lesson plans, question banks, and field-based learning for sociology students. Dr. Rajesh Kumar also organizes expert talks, academic discussions, and field visits to connect sociological theories with real-life social issues. His teaching and research aim to promote critical thinking, social awareness, and a deeper understanding of contemporary social transformations.
