I am currently serving as the Registrar of KVG Medical College, Sullia. I have 18 years of teaching experience and 5 years of administrative experience. I hold two doctoral degrees — a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology and a Ph.D. in Public Health, both from the University of Mysore. I completed my Post-Graduation in Social Work from Mangalore University, Sociology from the Karnataka State Open University, and Criminology & Criminal Justice Administration from the Tamil Nadu Open University. I have published several research articles in reputed journals in the fields of Sociology and Public Health.

Dr. Sandesh K.S. (born on 30 May 1985) is an academician and administrator with 18 years of professional experience. He currently serves as the Registrar of KVG Medical College & Hospital, Sullia, Karnataka. He holds postgraduate degrees in Social Work, Sociology, and Criminology, and has earned two Ph.D. degrees in Social Anthropology and Public Health from the University of Mysore. His academic interests include institutional governance, public health policy, and regulatory compliance in higher education.
He is married to Dr. Dimple Rai, a Psycho-Oncologist. His father is a social worker, mother a homemaker, and brother an IT professional. Known for his dedication to academic excellence, community service, and effective institutional administration, Dr. Sandesh continues to contribute to the growth and development of medical and allied health education in Karnataka.
