Dr. Manushi Srivastava currently designated as Professor (Medical Sociology) in the Department of Community Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University and from last 22 years I am working as an academician. My area of interest includes medical sociology, health communication and social epidemiology. I have about 65 National and International research articles and book chapters to my credit. I have been invited as guest speaker to Smith’s college, USA to deliver a talk on “Public health challenges in India”. I am also extending my academic support by delivering guest lecturers in various faculties & medical institutes. I have guided seven PhD students and currently guiding six. I have successfully completed one major ICMR Funded project and IOE funded project as Principal Investigator and participated as Co-Investigator in various research projects. I am presently holding the post of Co-convener, Regional Center of Medical Education, IMS and serving as Social scientist in the Institutional Ethics Committee of MPMMCC, Varanasi from last three years. I am privileged to be the part of Prajna Journal of BHU in capacity of editorial board member. As well as, I am member of various academic and scientific bodies at university and national level and hold many offices.
