I am a PhD Research Scholar at MNIT Jaipur and I have qualified for the UGC NET & GATE. I have a diverse background in empirical and qualitative research, with a strong focus on social and policy-oriented issues. I have worked as an Associate Director & MHHM Project Head at NGO, “Bharati Approaching Tomorrow Foundation” to support underprivileged youth through skill development, driving their economic and social mobility. I have also worked on the position of Research Assistant on an ‘ICSSR-sponsored research project’ at IIM Lucknow, where I contributed to a comprehensive study on the “Effectiveness of Atal Pension Yojana in the aspirational districts of Uttar Pradesh”.
My fieldwork experience includes conducting surveys and interviews for “Unnat Bharat Abhiyan”, focusing on rural development of Varanasi district, as well as working on my master’s dissertation at BHU, titled “Elderly People: Their Problems, Conditions, and Contributions in Society”. Additionally, I was involved in a UGC-sponsored research project at Patna Women’s College, addressing the “Socio-economic challenges faced by the elderly”. I have also undertaken qualitative research on “Section 377” during a certificate course in Women’s Studies, exploring the intersections of law, gender, and social justice.
I am driven by a passion for research that can influence policy and bring about tangible social change, particularly in areas of welfare, inclusion, and community development. I am open to research collaborations, guest faculty & assistant professor roles in Sociology.
