As Professor of sociology at Shivaji University, Kolhapur, I have supervised 04 students who were awarded Ph.D. degrees and 03 students who received M.Phil. degrees. In addition, I edited two books on the themes of poverty and social inequalities in India. Over the years, I have presented 67 papers at various State, National, and International Seminars and Conferences. My research experience includes several notable projects. Two books edited and two authored with other authors entitled ‘Understanding Indian Society’ (English and Marathi)  by Maharashtra State Bureau of Text Book Production and Curricular Research, Balbharati Pune.  As the Co-Principal Investigator, I led the Participatory Watershed Development – A Village Level Experiment in Maharashtra project, funded by UGC New Delhi, with a total grant of ₹9,75,400, running from July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2020. Additionally, I co-investigated the Human Development Report of Ratnagiri with funding from YASHADA, Pune, receiving ₹30,000 for the duration from February 15, 2016, to January 31, 2017. Another key project I worked on was A Study of Women Sarpanches in Karvir Taluka of Kolhapur District, where I served as Principal Investigator, funded by UGC SAP, Department of Sociology, with a budget of ₹50,000 from April 1, 2011, to March 31, 2012. I also investigated the Use of ICT and Rural Development: A Sociological Study of Kolhapur District as Principal Investigator, supported by UGC SAP, with ₹50,000 funding from April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2016. Lastly, I led the Role of Panchayati Raj Institutions in Implementation of Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) in Karveer Taluka of Kolhapur District, another project funded by UGC SAP, Department of Sociology, with ₹50,000 allocated for the period from April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2013.
