Rushiraj Upadhyay is an educator, Socio-Economic – Cultural & Political Thinker and Author. Rushiraj Upadhyay has wide – ranging interest in research and public policies including Developmental Studies, Social Ecology, Digitalization, Political Sociology, Social Movements and Socio–Political Issues at the global level. He has contributed articles and research papers in various journals, magazines, newspapers and edited books. He has a deep interest in bringing social issues, political turmoil, development facts, and environmental discourse before the people and government. His writings show his interest in planning and policy matters.

He is a Member of India’s prestigious academic associations like Indian Sociological Society (ISS), Indian Social Science Association (ISSA), Indian Sociological Society (ISS), Indian Association of Social Scientists and Grand Academic Portal (GAP). He is also a member of Gujarat Sociological Society.  He was conferred with the R. K. Mukherjee Young Social Scientist Award by ISSA in the year 2014.

His Career objective is to play a decisive role in the societal development by active involvement in research, academia and social work, and contribute to the better changes in society as well as human living standard. His current passion is to work as a facilitator of education and creating opportunities to build, enhance and sustain high levels of professional conduct and excellence in performance leading towards the evolution of a creative mind-frame.

His academic credentials include Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate in Sociology.
