Dr. Sakshi Shukla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences, at M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. Her research lies at the intersection of gender, mobility, and postcolonial studies, with a particular focus on the Indian IT industry. A trained anthropologist and qualitative researcher, Dr. Shukla has received international recognition, including the MAXQDA Research for Change and a Global Research Scholarship in South Korea. She is a full member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society and currently serves as an Associate Editor with the Springer Nature HSS Editorial Community.
