Sandeep Gupta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Nagaland University, Lumami, with a Ph.D. in Sociology from Assam University, Silchar, his teaching and research span across Sociology of Health, Gender, Rural Sociology, Communication, and Folklore. Dr. Gupta has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and has guided multiple doctoral theses on diverse sociological themes. He has been actively involved in organising research methodology workshops and has delivered invited lectures at various academic institutions across India. He is also a life member of the Indian Sociological Society and Sociological Association of North East India.
