Common folks speak sociology. As a student of sociology, I intend to listen and document voices and make them heard in circles of power. I am a PhD candidate at the Center for the Study of Social Systems, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. My research interests are in the sociology of education and youth studies. My works mainly focus on the issues of access and equity in education, employment and entrepreneurship in India. I keep an ear to the ground on events that are sociologically significant, for I bear witness to the history that is unfolding in our times.
