Professor Yogendra Singh Endowment Fund was set up jointly by the Indian Sociological Society (ISS) in 2021. The fund has been created as a result of donation of Rs 8 lakh by Mrs. Neerja Singh. A Committee composed of the following manages the Fund: (i) the President of ISS, who is also be the Chairman of the Committee, (ii) Prof. K. L. Sharma, and (iii) Mrs. Neerja Singh or any senior sociologist nominated by her from time to time. When none of them is available, the Managing Committee of ISS will nominate a panel of three eminent sociologists or social anthropologists out of which the President of ISS will choose one to be a member of the Fund Committee in place of the any of the unavailable member.
