I am a Professor at the Centre for Kashmir Studies, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala. Till Feb-March 2023, I was Professor, Dept. of Sociology, University of Jammu, Jammu. My research areas include gender, tribal, and community studies, as well as the sociology of religion, conflict, and borderlands.
