Dr. Ashwini Jane, currently working as an Associate Professor  in the Department of Sociology, Tumkur University, Tumkur, Karnataka. I have completed my M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. Degrees in Sociology and have over 15 years of teaching and research experience. My  areas of academic interest include Sociology of Gender, Sociology of Health, and Social Statistics. I have published around 50 research papers in reputed  national and international journals and have presented papers at various national and international conferences. In addition, I have published two books and successfully  completed a UGC Minor Research Project. Currently, I am engaged in an Ethnographic Research Project  funded by the Devaraj Urs Research Institute, Government of Karnataka.

My academic journey reflects my continuous commitment to advancing sociological knowledge through research, teaching, and community engagement.
