User Memberships:

A work experience of more than 13 years, which is a blend of research including field based data collection and teaching. Areas of expertise include teaching Post Graduation and M.Phil. and P.hd. students, guiding Master’s and M.Phil Dissertation Research Projects. Supervising Ph.D. scholars of the department. Teaching areas include Classical and Advanced Sociological Theory, Research Methodology and Social Statistics, Sociology of Work, Organisations, Occupations and Professions, Social Psychology, Indian social issues.

Involved in various extra-academic and administrative activities of the Department including Under Graduation and Post-Graduation Examination related responsibilities.
Ph.D. from Department of Sociology, University of Calcutta, India, MA (Sociology) from University of Calcutta and Graduation in Sociology from St. Xavier’s’ College, Kolkata.
