I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology with a Ph.D., M.Phil. and M.A. in Sociology. I have qualified the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) and USET (Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test). My academic interests include Sociology of Law, Sociology of Education, Child Labour, Labour Studies, Social Inequality, Urban Sociology and Social Development. My doctoral research focused on the status of child labour in the informal sector of Ghaziabad City, Uttar Pradesh. My research interests include child labour, socio-economic inequalities, childhood studies and the social conditions of disadvantaged communities. I am interested in academic research, teaching, scholarly publications and contributing to the advancement of sociological knowledge.   As an academic professional, I aim to engage with the sociological community, participate in scholarly discussions and contribute to research and teaching in Sociology.
