Biographical Info

Dr L T Om Prakash has been engaged in teaching and research since 2008. He joined CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in 2010 and is currently the Director of the Centre for Social and Policy Research (CSPR). He also serves as an Associate Professor in Sociology. His research areas include Social Stratification, Sociology of Education, and Social Psychology. Dr Prakash has contributed to academic journals, online platforms, and major newspapers. He has led significant research projects funded by renowned organisations and supervised PhD and MPhil scholars. Dr Prakash began his career as a research associate, specialising in data analysis and interpretation. He has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. Currently, he serves as the Editor of the Artha Journal of Social Sciences, published by CHRIST University’s Centre for Publications.
