I am emerging sociologist is a final-year undergraduate student in the Department of Sociology, D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai. The research journey, which began in 2024, has grown into a meaningful pursuit of knowledge and purpose over 20 months, resulting in the completion and presentation of 20 research papers at various national and international conferences and seminars. With four Best Paper and Best Presenter awards, the journey reflects not only academic excellence but also a deep commitment to learning and exploration through multidimensional sociological perspectives. Beyond awards, the focus has always been on the awards of words the appreciation, encouragement, and recognition received from chairpersons, peers, and fellow researchers that inspire continuous growth. Having developed strong skills in social science research and methodology, the researcher has successfully conducted training sessions for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students, teaching a total of 32 learners under the guidance of an international journal. Currently, they continue to teach research methodology within their own department, fostering curiosity and confidence among students.True recognition, as learned through this journey, lies not in trophies or certificates but in addressing real social issues, inspiring others, and contributing to the collective advancement of knowledge in the field of sociology.
